Membership
Membership is primarily an expression of support for the continued well-being of Springwater Center. Members understand dues contributions are an essential source of income, necessary for the Center’s continue success, and commit to undertaking this support on an ongoing basis.
While the Center relies on dues payments and would not exist without its members, it remains open to all, regardless of membership affiliation.

Benefits of Membership
Member benefits are available after two quarters of dues have been paid
- Four (4) free nights of lodging in a private guest room each quarter (available when the Center is not closed or holding a retreat.)
- Lower retreat fees
- A vote at the annual meeting and other polls of members
- Invitation to in-person-only retreat and All Day Sitting talks (live online or recorded)
- Meetings with an available member of the Springwater Center Teaching Committee, outside of retreat (by appointment)
- Children 18 and under attend retreat at member rate
Payments
Springwater Center is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Membership dues deduction for federal income tax purposes is limited to the excess of the amount of money contributed over the value of goods or services provided by Springwater Center.
Members can pay dues online by using the “Contribute” button on this page, or may use the “Membership Auto-Pay” button to sign up to make automatic payments:
Payment is processed by Stripe, which accepts credit or debit cards with the following logos: Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover.
