It’s Spring!

It was a long time coming but it is visibly springtime in Springwater, NY and summer is around the corner. There‘s a lot going on at the Center with space available in all of the upcoming retreats. Take a look!

All Day Sitting – Saturday June 2 – 8:30 am-4:30 pm

While All Day Sittings continue to be quite popular and the upcoming event is no exception, there is always room for more. If you are interested in attending the June Sitting contact reception by phone or email to sign up.

Annual Meeting and Potluck – Sunday June 3 at 10 a.m.

The Center’s Annual Meeting will begin at 10 a.m. on Sunday June 4. There will be reports on the past years activities, a financial report, a tabulation of the ballots for the election of two trustees and an open discussion. A pot-luck lunch follows the meeting. Members, your participation is important. Please mail your proxy ballot now if you have not already done so.

Seven Day Silent Retreat with Stephan Bielfeldt – June 9-16

Stephan and Sabine Bielfeldt will be at Springwater Center June 9-16 when Stephan will lead this seven day retreat. Space is available for full and part-time participants.
Stephan has been doing meditation work and and holding retreats in both Germany and Poland since 2003 and at Springwater Center since 2010. Learn more about Stephan by visiting the website. Seven Day Silent Retreat with Richard Witteman June 30-July 7
Richard Witteman and Sophia Savich return to Springwater Center at the end of June. While this retreat tends to be very popular, there is still space in the retreat for full and part-time attendees. Richard will give talks and be available for group and private meetings. You can find out more about Richard on the Center website.

Volunteers

It is possible to volunteer with us outside of retreat in exchange for room and meals. Volunteer work is usually in the kitchen, housekeeping, painting, construction, or summer gardening. If you have skills or limitations with these jobs, please let us know when you apply.
