Sandra and Wayne will alternate giving talks and both will be available for private meetings and group dialogues. This retreat is once again open to in-person and online attendees, full or part-time. Please note that the online and in person groups will be together for the daily group dialogues in this retreat. Online registrations are unlimited. There are still some in-person spaces available. 

Wayne and Sandra worked closely with Toni Packer, the Center’s founding teacher, for many years. Toni entrusted them with continuing the Center’s meditative work. In addition to holding retreat, Wayne and Sandra take part in the Center’s daily life, doing hands-on work or meeting with staff and guests.

An OMD is an Open Meditative Dialogue. Our first Open Meditative Dialogue in March with guest speaker Kirk Brown was well received. The guest speaker this Saturday will be Susan Esons, Springwater Center’s Assistant Administrator.  

The schedule for this Saturday’s online OMD is as follows (in EDT):

1:30 – 2:00 pm – 25 minute timed sitting followed by short break

2:00 – 2:20 pm – Guest Speaker

2:30 – 3:45 pm – Open Meditative Dialogue

Speaking and dialoguing is different from a lecture or a discussion group where we share what we already know. The spirit of Meditative Inquiry infuses Talks and Group Dialogue at Springwater Center with a sense of exploration and discovery, of being open to the freshness of not knowing.
